Support

Dyslexia support

If you already know that you have dyslexia, please let us know on the enrolment form or simply talk to us.  We can then support you with the help of a specialist tutor or your tutor can simply adjust how they present information in class. If you are on a qualification course we may also be able to arrange a dyslexia assessment for you.

Better access

We really want you to be able to get onto our courses and then succeed once you have enrolled.  So if anything gets in the way of your success such as an inaccessible room, the wrong equipment in a computer class if you have a health issue or disability or you have dyslexia, please get in touch with us straight away, so we can support you better.

Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)

You can access information and advice by calling one of our members of the enrolment team, by attending one of our assessment days and at the end of every course, when the tutor will talk you though next steps into further learning, volunteering or employment.

Support with literacy and numeracy

Literacy and numeracy needs are assessed on vocational courses. Based on this assessment, you may be advised to attend additional classes.  All our courses have literacy and numeracy embedded.  If you feel you would like to discuss your literacy and/or numeracy requirements further with a member of our team, please get in touch by phone or email
