We have a range of professional qualifications and courses on offer with more courses added regularly throughout the year.

First Aid at Work: One-day
This course is suitable for designated first aiders and for anyone else with an interest in first aid. You will learn about the role of the first aider, how to manage an emergency and deal with issues such as bleeding, choking, burns and resuscitation. Defibrillator training included.

First Aid Paediatric: Two-day
This course is suitable for people working with babies in nurseries, early years settings and schools as well as parents. Learn how to effectively deal with an emergency for children such as unresponsiveness, bleeding, broken bones, burns, poisoning, chronic medical conditions and more. We provide plenty of adult, child and baby mannequins enabling each delegate to engage in supervised practice and develop confidence when dealing with emergencies. Defibrillator training included.

First Aid at Work: Three-day
This course will provide first aiders with the knowledge and skills to summon help and give safe, prompt and effective emergency first aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness. Defibrillator training included.

Introduction to Food Hygiene
A short course which provides an introduction to workplace food hygiene health and safety procedures. This course will benefit anyone working or planning to work alongside food.

Food Hygiene Level 1
This course will raise awareness of key food safety issues and provide employees with an introduction to food hygiene. The course covers the importance of hygiene and cleanliness when handling food and how to keep food free from contamination. You will sit a test at the end of this one-day course and upon successful completion receive a Level 1 award.

Food Hygiene Level 2
On this Level 2 course you will learn how to take personal responsibility for food safety, the importance of cleanliness and hygiene both in terms of personal hygiene and work areas.

Social Media Marketing Taster
Try our taster to get a feel for the range social media available to market your skills and services.  You can progress from here to the six-week Social Media and Marketing course.

Social Media Marketing

This course will give you the ins and outs on using social media to market your business or your personal brand.  Do you want to make an impact in your field of work?  Are you self-employed, developing or starting your own company?  Find out how to better market yourself, your work, your products and services via social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Facebook and how to use them in conjunction with email marketing.

Qualification courses

Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 2
This course is suitable for anyone interested in a career working with children in a school based environment.The units to be covered include: supporting children’s development, providing support for learning activities, helping to keep children safe, the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion and supporting positive behaviour. 

Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 3
This qualification will provide learners with a secure understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in a school environment. The units cover child and young person development, safeguarding their welfare, the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion and supporting positive behaviour.

Award in Education and Training Level 3 (QCF)
If you are looking to start a career in Teaching Adults the Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education is for you. This qualification replaces the old PTLLS course and is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to teach in your specialist area. The course is suitable for those already in education, who want to gain formal recognition of their skills, as well as those with no teaching experience.

Award in Education and Training Level 3 (QCF)
If you are looking to start a career in Teaching Adults the Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education is for you. This qualification replaces the old PTLLS course and is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to teach in your specialist area.
